About Me

My name is Megan Hunter and I love teaching PE here at Cheatham Middle. I received my degree at Carson-Newman University in 2012. I also had the privilege to play the sport I love (basketball) at the collegiate level for four years. Cheatham County has always been home to me. I went through Ashland City Elementary, Cheatham Middle, and Cheatham High School and returning back to CMS made it a full circle. I was hired as a 5th grade Math and Science teacher where I taught for two years and loved every second, but being asked to teach Health and now PE was a dream come true. I am blessed to work along side an amazing partner, Coach Carter, and love being able to see all the students throughout the year. Here at Cheatham Middle, I am able to coach girls and boys soccer. I am also the assistant girls and boys basketball coach at CCCHS. My goal for teaching and coaching is to be a positive role model for each student and player.
