Miss Michela Colter

Hello Bearcat Family, my name is Michela Colter. Here at Cheatham Middle, I have the pleasure to work within the sixth grade as our Special Education teacher. This is my third year as a Special Education teacher, as well as my third year at CMS. I am a transplant into Cheatham county. After moving here when I was four, I grew up within the Cheatham Co. School District. I am a 2013 graduate from Cheatham Co. Central High School. I love being able to come back to Cheatham Middle and working alongside some of my former teachers. For my time in college, I attended Austin Peay State University where I received my Bachelors Degree in History with a minor in both Political Science and Education. In the future, a goal for me is to go back to get my Masters Degree in Higher Education Administration so that I can work for Student Affairs for a college/university. Some fun fact about me: I am the only sibling without their own children, I traveled to San Francisco, California, and I collect stickers and post cards.
