About Ms. K

Hello! 

 

My name is Helena Kuszajewski and I will be one of the 8th grade English Language Arts teachers for CMS. I have a passion for teaching middle school students and have previously taught 7th grade ELA. 

 

I moved to Tennessee from Southern California where I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education at California Baptist University. Outside of school, I have a dog named Wrangler. He is my pride and joy. I love Netflix binging, coffee, and spending quality time with... my dog!

 

My love for ELA: I enjoy being able to escape reality through reading books and writing. My goal for my classroom is to create a safe and challenging classroom environment that pushes students to their fullest potential in and out of the classroom.
