Mission Statement

The mission of Cheatham Middle School's Guidance Department is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, developmental school counseling program, addressing the academic, career, personal, and social/emotional development of all students. Without regard to race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, handicap, or national origin, we encourage our students to develop realistic and healthy self-concepts. We are professional school advocates who provide support to maximize student potential and academic achievement. We work in partnership with other educators, families, and community members to assist in equipping all students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be productive, contributing members of society.
