About Mrs. Kilgore

My name is Sarah Kilgore and this is my 9th year at CMS. I have taught 8th grade math for 6 years, 7th grade Science for 2 years, and this will be my first year teaching Algebra 1. I am the assistant volleyball coach here at CMS. My husband, Chase, and I have two boys Grayson, who is almost 4, and Clay, who will be 2 in November.

 

I am a Cheatham County native and graduated from Sycamore High School in 2010. I then went to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to receive my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Middle Grades Endorsement and I am certified to teach Pre-K thru 8th grade. I also recently received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. 

 

I love being at Cheatham Middle and working with the students on a daily basis. Some of my favorite things include chicken nuggets, reading a good book, and spending time with my family at the beach. I am a huge sports fan and love the Tennessee Titans and North Carolina Tar Heels.
