Fallon named new HMS academic specialist

The Cheatham County School District has named Natalia Fallon as the new academic specialist at Harpeth Middle School.

Fallon, who most recently was an English teacher at Harpeth High School, replaces Marianne Malone.

Fallon is a 1996 graduate of Walhalla High School in Walhalla, S.C. and earned a Bachelor of Art degree in English from Clemson University in 2000. She received her Master of Education in English Education from Vanderbilt University in 2010.

She started her career teaching English at Walhalla High School in 2004. She also taught language arts at Head Middle Magnet School in Nashville. She joined the HHS staff in 2013.

Fallon was a 2017-2018 Tennessee Educator Fellow, a program offered through the State Collaborative on Reforming Education (SCORE). She was a participant in the National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Institute: Power of Place in 2016 in Asheville, N.C.

"I am very excited to join the dedicated and enthusiastic team at Harpeth Middle School. I love the Pegram and Kingston Springs communities, and I am thankful for this opportunity to serve the students and teachers of Harpeth Middle School,” she said.
